Privacy & Data

Last revised October 14, 2026

This Privacy & Data policy describes how Tasty Food Deal ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses and discloses personal information through https://tastyfooddeal.com (the "Site"), and explains your rights and choices, including those under US state privacy laws.

1. What we collect

Email messages

When you email us, we receive your email address, any name you give, and your message.

Our free menu request form asks for your first name and email address (required) and, optionally, a phone number. It also records the cuisine you prefer, how many people you're feeding, how many takeout nights you want, dietary needs, spice level, the equipment you select, any notes you add (for example allergies or dislikes), the date and time you submitted, and your confirmation that you're at least 18 and consent to our use of this information.

We use these details only to create and email your menu and to respond to any follow-up questions. We do not use them for marketing, subscribe you to any list, sell them, or share them for targeted advertising. Your request is emailed to us, and a copy is saved in a server folder that is locked to the public. If your notes mention allergies or health matters, that's your choice, and we use it only to shape your menu.

Automatic information

Our hosting provider logs basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and times, for security and maintenance. If we enable analytics or advertising, those services may collect identifiers, on-Site activity and approximate location via cookies and similar technologies.

Air fryer converter

The converter calculates everything inside your browser. The numbers you enter never reach us.

2. Why we use it

3. Google services, cookies and ads

We may use Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Google Ads.

See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and our Cookie Info page.

4. Who we disclose it to

We disclose personal information to providers that support the Site, such as our web host and email service, who are required to protect it. When analytics or advertising are active, cookie data goes to those providers. We'll also disclose information when legally required or to protect people and our rights.

We don't sell personal information for money. Some state laws may nonetheless treat advertising cookies as a "sale" or as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out whenever you like — see section 6.

5. How long we keep it

Menu requests and emails are kept no longer than 12 months, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them earlier or the law requires us to retain them. Server logs follow our host's schedule; analytics and ad data follow the providers' settings.

6. Your state privacy rights

Residents of states with consumer privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others — may have the right to:

How to ask: email [email protected] with "Privacy request" as the subject and tell us what you need. We'll verify the request by confirming it with the email address tied to your information. Authorized agents may act for you where state law allows. If we turn down your request, reply with "Appeal" in the subject and we'll respond within the legally required time.

Opt out: visit our Do Not Sell or Share page. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as valid opt-out requests.

California "Shine the Light": we don't give personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.

7. Children

The Site is designed for adults and not directed at children under 13. In line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Menu requests require users to be 18 or older. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, let us know and we'll delete it.

8. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and menu requests are stored in a folder that's blocked from public access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Do Not Track

Browsers' "Do Not Track" signals have no common standard, so we don't act on them. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The revision date at the top tells you when, and we'll note significant changes on the Site.
